Trauma Therapy CA Rates

While we do have set fees for each of our services, we also want to make quality therapy as affordable as possible. If you are facing economic hardship, let your clinician know so we can develop a strategy to help you in this area. We also have clinicians at varying degree levels so take this into consideration in our fee structure.

Insurance Information

Trauma Therapy CA is considered an out of network provider. That means we do not bill directly to insurance. We suggest you call your insurance company directly to inquire about out-of-network mental health benefit coverage. Insurance companies may reimburse for the billing codes below, although this is at their discretion. We are happy to provide you with super bills (statements), so you can submit claims to your insurance. The codes of therapy service we typically provide are:

Initial Consultation, CPT #90791
Individual Psychotherapy, CPT #90834 (under 50 min)
Individual Psychotherapy, CPT #90837 (over 50 min)
Family Therapy with the patient, CPT#90847
Family Therapy without the patient present, CPT #90846
Group Skills Psychotherapy, CPT #90853
Multi-Family Group Psychotherapy, CPT #90849

There are many more codes for psychological evaluation. Some of the primary codes we use for this are 96130, 96131, 961326, 96137, 96146, 96116, and 96121.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The time reserved for our clients is very important to us. In order to provide the best care for our clients, we respectfully request at least 24-hour written notice for appointment adjustments or cancellations. The notification can be emailed to info@traumatherapyca.com or billing@traumatherapyca.com. We understand that schedules change, and we are available by phone and email for any appointment adjustments.

Notification given at least 24-hours prior to your appointment will receive no charges. In the case of a late cancellation or unattended session, a full session charge will be paid by the client as agreed upon in the signed Intake Form.”
